OCALA — A state prison inmate has been charged with robbing a pizza restaurant in Dunnellon last year. Dunnellon police officers visited Brandon Christopher Pease in Walton County and questioned him about the May 5, 2018 robbery at Little Caesars Pizza, 11150 N. Williams St. Pease denied committing the robbery, though Dunnellon police officials told him they recovered a mask that had his DNA on it. Authorities said Pease could not explain how his DNA got on the mask. Pease, earlier held at Walton Work Camp, has been transferred to a prison. State records show Pease is serving time for trafficking in stolen property and providing false information to a pawn broker. He’s scheduled to be released on Aug. 30, 2021. Read More. |
