Lucas County jail adds tablets for inmate use |

The Lucas County jail recently acquired dozens of tablets for inmate use, a technology upgrade that will be used for both streaming movies — and connecting those incarcerated to home. These 75 devices are now available in the jail's 33 housing modules. They come at no cost to the county from Global Tel Link, a Virgina-based company that specializes in providing telephone and other communications services to jails and prisons.. “Idle hands are the devil's workshop,” Lucas County sheriff’s Lt.
