| Inmate Found Dead in Cell at SCI Forest |

MARIENVILLE, Pa. – An investigation is underway after an inmate was found dead in his cell at SCI Forest in Marienville. Superintendent Derek Oberlander said corrections officers found Larry J. Cragle unresponsive in his cell at approximately 2:40 p.m. on May 5. The officers provided immediate emergency first aid and continued to do so until paramedics arrived. Cragle was declared dead at 3:26 PM by Dr. Hoh from Clarion Hospital via Clarion EMS. The Pennsylvania State Police and the Forest County coroner will conduct an investigation.
