An inmate at Louisville Metro Corrections died Monday after being found unresponsive in his cell. Jail officials said a corrections officer found the 42-year-old man around 8 a.m. inside a housing unit and made life saving efforts before an ambulance arrived. He was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital where he died. Preliminary information suggests he died of natural causes, said Assistant Director Steve Durham. Read More. |
