MOUNT OLIVE, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) — West Virginia State Police are investigating after an inmate-on-inmate assault occurred Tuesday evening at Mount Olive Correctional Complex in Fayette County. Two inmates were sent to the hospital as a precaution, said Lawrence Messina, director of communications for the West Virginia Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety.
