A death row prisoner diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer has died just three months before he was due to be executed for a double murder. Charles Walton Wright's death warrant had been signed and he was scheduled to be executed by lethal injection at a state prison in Tennessee on October 10. The 64-year-old had pleaded with the state to halt his execution and let him die naturally after finding out that he had cancer. Read More. |
