| Inmate Charged with Attempted Murder of Ex-Girlfriend |

HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (5/21/19) — A Henderson County Jail inmate with alleged plans to murder his ex-girlfriend in Kinmundy, Illinois was charged today with one count of attempted murder stemming from an incident that occurred April 23-26. Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reported deputies from Marion County Sheriff’s Department in Illinois contacted them regarding information that Jacob D. Roderick, 37 of Evansville, Indiana, was planning and had attempted to murder his former girlfriend in Illinois. Illinois deputies went to Henderson County for assistance to obtain a search warrant at Roderick’s motel room at True Vine Inn, HCSO reported.
