| Louisville Metro Department of Corrections director to retire Friday |

In two days, the head of Louisville Metro Corrections will be stepping down. Mark Bolton has been in the corrections industry for four decades. He was appointed to run the jail in 2008 by then-mayor Jerry Abramson. Under Bolton's direction, the jail has been recognized nationally for treatment programs for inmates with substance abuse issues. Bolton spoke to WLKY on Wednesday about the future saying he's confident he's leaving the jail in good hands. Read More. |
