IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) An eastern Iowa inmate died in custody according to the Iowa Department of Corrections. Kevin Bishop, 63, was incarcerated at the Mount Pleasant Correctional Facility. He was taken to the University of Iowa hospital and clinics. He was pronounced dead due to complications from an unexpected illness around noon Sunday. Read More. |
