Inmate accused of smuggling meth into jail and using, sharing it |

MASON COUNTY, MI – A jail inmate faces six felony drug charges stemming from allegations he smuggled in methamphetamine and used and shared it while incarcerated. Timothy Allen Lopez, 25, of Ludington was an inmate at the Mason County Jail when deputies on May 29 suspected he was under the influence of drugs, according to a news release from Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. A lockdown was immediately ordered and eight additional deputies brought in to conduct a search of the jail, the release states. Read More. |
