| Former Savannah priest serving 20 years for child molestation dies in prison |

SAVANNAH, GA. (WTGS) — Defrocked Savannah priest Wayland Brown has died just months into serving his 20-year sentence. The South Carolina Department of Corrections confirmed Brown died on Sunday. Brown was sentenced back in October after pleading guilty to nine counts of sexual misconduct with a minor back in the 1970s. One of his victims was Chris Templeton. Read More. |
