OKEECHOBEE, Fla. (CBS12) — A female inmate at the Okeechobee County jail is dead after she was found unresponsive in her jail cell, deputies say. Okeechobee County Sheriff's deputies found 41-year-old Michelle Lee Jones unresponsive in her cell Wednesday. According to deputies, she had a faint pulse and deputies performed CPR on her.
