CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP / WDEF) - Police in Tennessee are searching for a jail inmate who escaped custody at a hospital. The Chattanooga Times Free Press reports 29-year-old Anthony Labron Bell escaped Erlanger Hospital on Sunday, and has now been added to the TBI's most wanted list. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says Bell last was seen in handcuffs wearing a green hospital gown with no shoes. Bell had been brought to the hospital from the Hamilton County Jail on Friday. Officers located Bell’s hospital gown and ID bracelet. His handcuffs were not located, but officers believe he may have been able to remove them or cut the chain. Read More. |
