|Wyoming Inmate Montez Dies at Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution|

Torrington – Lorenzo S. Montez, a Wyoming inmate, died from a long-term illness on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington.
Montez was sentenced on November 19, 2007 by Albany County District Court Judge Jeffrey A. Donnell. He was serving consecutive sentences for two counts of Immodest, Immoral or Indecent Liberties with a Child (8-10 years on each count) and one count of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (2-5 years).
Montez was born on August 10, 1965, in Laramie, Wyoming.
As per departmental policy an autopsy has been ordered.
