Woman jailed on traffic count escapes from Northampton County work release, DOC says |

A 20-year-old Easton woman, who was jailed on July 5 to start serving a 60-day sentence that stretches to Sept. 3 on a summary traffic offense, failed to return Monday night to the Northampton County work release facility in West Easton, the department of corrections reports. Skyar Jane Laudenslager, no address given, pleaded guilty May 22 in District Judge Jacqueline Taschner’s court in Palmer Township to a charge of driving while her license was suspended, records show. The coding indicates she refused a blood test after a traffic stop, resulting in a suspended license, and then, on Feb. 3, Pennsylvania State Police stopped her while speeding, records state.
