State prison inmate assaults correction officers |

NAPANOCH – A state prisoner, who was being processed after being received at Ulster Correctional Facility in Napanoch as a parole violator, attacked a corrections officer, biting his right hand and refusing to let go. The July 12 incident was conveyed in an assault report issued on Thursday. The officer struck the inmate, Eugene Blake, 29, with his other hand and ordered him to release his grip.
