SOMERSET, Pa. (WJAC) — State correctional authorities say an inmate died over the weekend after being found unresponsive in his cell. According to SCI Somerset Superintendent Eric Tice, 30-year-old Brandon Piper was found unresponsive in his cell sometime around 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Tice says staff provided immediate emergency assistance until medical personnel arrived, but Price was later pronounced dead. Read More. |
