No foul play suspected in inmate’s death at Oklahoma County Jail, officials say |

Officials with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an inmate’s death at the Oklahoma County Jail. According to the Sheriff’s Office, a detention officer was conducting site check s Monday and heard someone calling for help at about 11:30 p.m. for her cellmate, 57-year-old Dianne Annette Jones. The officer opened the cell and found Jones unresponsive. Medical staff performed CPR and utilized an automated external defibrillator (AED) until EMSA paramedics arrived. Jones was taken to SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, where she was pronounced dead around 12:36 a.m. Tuesday.
