Marion County Jail II inmate escapes through loading dock window |

An inmate busted a window and escaped from Marion County Jail II early Tuesday, the Marion County Sheriff's Office said. Brian Wampner, 38, was working on a loading dock when he left the privately run jail through a window about 3:40 a.m., said Katie Carlson, a spokeswoman for Marion County Sheriff John Layton. "Wampner was injured in the escape and appears to have been actively bleeding," Carlson said in a news release. Read More. |
