| Staff suspended after inmates have sex in car |

Two Madison County, Tenn., sheriff's deputies were suspended after a male and female inmate in their custody were determined to have had sex while being transported to jail. Deputies Danny J. Wilson and Richard A. Baxter were suspended for three days without pay Friday and reassigned to other duties after an internal investigation. Madison County Sheriff David Woolfork said the prisoners were handcuffed and wearing waist chains. They did not have leg chains or seatbelts on, he said. The deputies are scheduled to return to work Tuesday. |
