A man who was convicted of killing his 2-year-old son in Story County in the 1970s died Thursday at an Iowa prison.
Authorities believe Thomas Earl Seehan, 69, died of natural causes in his cell at the Clarinda Correctional Facility, according to a release from the state Department of Corrections. An autopsy will be performed, however.
Seehan had been serving a life sentence for killing his 2-year-old son in 1975.
