Condemned Inmate David Reed Dies |

SAN QUENTIN – David Reed, 60, who had been on California’s death row since 2011, died on July 7, 2020, at an outside hospital from what appear to be complications related to COVID-19. An exact cause of death has not yet been determined. Reed was committed to CDCR on Oct. 31, 2011 from Riverside County as a condemned inmate for first-degree murder with use of a deadly weapon and second-degree robbery. There are currently 720 people on California’s death row. |
