| Work release escapee fails to report to facility |

Maurice Lamont Turner, 45, failed to report back to the Department of Corrections Marshalltown Residential Facility on Saturday. Turner is a Black man, with a height of 5’7″ and a weight of 262 pounds. He was convicted of domestic abuse assault in Tama County and was admitted to the facility on Oct. 21, 2019. This is the second time Turner has failed to return to the facility, as he did the same thing in November 2019 and in August 2015. Read More. |
