| Chambers County prison inmate escapes |

Chambers County (Texas) authorities are searching for a prison escapee on the run Tuesday morning. Sheriff's deputies said Homer Lee Brown Jr., 46, escaped from the recreation yard of the Chambers County Prison on Monday afternoon. Prison officials said they are not sure how Brown escaped. Brown is serving time for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. |
