Escaped inmate captured at UConn |

An inmate missing from the Bergin minimum-security prison in Storrs, Conn., has been recaptured. He was found by University of Connecticut police Tuesday morning. Arturo Catalan, 37, of Fairfield was discovered missing shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday. Correction officers making their usual tours found a window open in a housing unit at the facility. Catalan was sentenced June 1 to a 120-day sentence for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. |
