Two inmates who escaped from the Escambia County (Ala.) Jail eleven days ago are back in custody. Federal Marshals and Prattville Police arrested Myron Reese and Frederick Graves this morning in Prattville. According to U-S Marshal Jesse Seroyer, police received a tip that Reese and Graves were hiding in the city. He said Reese was taken into custody during a traffic stop and Graves was arrested in an apartment around 3 a-m. Seroyer said Graves was awaiting transfer to a federal prison to begin serving a 14 year sentence for a drug trafficking conviction in Mobile federal court. He said Graves could receive an additional sentence of five years, if convicted of the escape charge. No background information was immediately available on Reese. |
