This site was created to challenge current perceptions about who is in prison today and why. The mission is to generate ideas about crime reduction and strengthening communities. Over the next two years the site will work with educators and students to develop local dialogues in schools and communities and with journalists to tell stories about how crime affects whole families and communities as well as those who are directly involved.
