A search continues today for a Coosa County inmate who escaped custody while at a dentist office in the Hanover community. It happened yesterday morning about 9 a.m.. Sheriff Ricky Owens said Michael Jones sneaked out a rear door and ran into a wooded-area. Jones, who was in jail on a felony weapons charge, was handcuffed and was wearing orange pants. He is the fourth inmate to escape in Coosa County this year. |
