| Inmates recaptured after courthouse escape |

Four prisoners escaped from a Michigan courthouse Monday after one of the men overpowered a security officer. All four were later recaptured. The officer suffered scrapes and was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said. Police closed streets and locked down buildings for several hours after the escape. The officer's gun was taken during the escape but was later recovered, police said. Three of the inmates were quickly captured. The fourth, Jahmal Dillahunty, was caught about three hours later. |
