Convicted burglar Christopher Larson escaped from a corrections work site this morning in Chehalis, Washington. According to reports, Larson was serving a sentence of one year and two months for residential burglary. While notifications have been made to local law enforcement, the state Department of Corrections has also dispatched an emergency response team to aid in the search. Team members adept at tracking fugitives have also been asked to assist local law enforcement.

Officials note that Larson was last seen wearing a red shirt and khaki colored pants. Anyone with information concerning Larson's whereabouts should contact the Lewis County Sheriffs Office.
