A prison officer has been charged with having sex with a female inmate at a prison in Richland County, S.C., the South Carolina Corrections Department said.

Willie Jones, 43, of Columbia, was charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct with an inmate, the State Law Enforcement Division said. A female inmate was forced to engage in a sex act in a maintenance shed at the prison.

The incident happened Aug. 13 at the Camille Griffin Graham Correctional Institution, the arrest warrant states.
