Authorities are continuing the search for a Michigan inmate that escaped on Monday afternoon. Officials report that Brian Dennis Green, 25, escaped from a downtown court house after being sentenced to 60 days in jail. Green was accused of violating his probation, and had been convicted of leaving the scene of an accident. Police say that Green managed to slip out of his handcuffs while waiting for transportation back to jail. Officials said Green was handcuffed to another prisoner, and he ran out of the front door of the courthouse after he broke free prompting dozens of officers to immediately start searching for him. Patrol cars cruised the streets and officers climbed to the rooftops while Green ran through a furniture store. |
