Colorado officers are still searching for a man that escaped prison, was spotted on Saturday evening by a local deputy – only to elude officers again.

Sean Morton, who was serving time for assault with a deadly weapon, was spotted towing a van with his wife when an officer approached him. As soon as Morton saw the officer, he ran toward the highway. Officials immediately sent a warning out to residents, telling them to “lock all doors and windows.”

Officers continued to search for Morton, but had not found him as of Sunday afternoon. Officials report that Morton had escaped while on furlough last year. Morton's wife was questioned and released.
