Devin F. Southers, 46, has reportedly killed himself while being held in the Arizona State Prison in Tucson. Southers was serving a 3 ½ - year sentence for a weapons violation.

According to Department of Corrections spokesman Bob Huhn, Southers would have been released in December of 2008. Huhn also noted that he did not know whether Southers was on a suicide watch.

Officials will not comment on how Southers killed himself.
