Officials were forced to lock down Placer County Jail earlier this week, following an incident involving a Halloween costume. According to recent reports, a man was seen wearing an orange inmate jump suit and shackles. The man was getting into a car at a Taco Bell. Officers were concerned that one of Placer County's inmates had escaped, and promptly put the jail on lockdown. After an inmate count at the facility, officials realized that nobody had escaped. The man wearing the costume said he was just dressing up as a member of the band Slipknot, but acknowledged that he did look like an inmate. |
