A homicide is being investigated at Georgia's Coastal State Prison following the October 11th murder of inmate Michael Steven Mote. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, inmate Fred Sannauth is being charged in the homicide. Officials added that only Mote and Sannauth were involved in the incident. Mote was strangled in the prison, and pronounced dead at Candler Hospital emergency room. Officials said the murder is still under active investigation, and that an internal investigation is also being conducted. |
