Racial Undertones in Prison Fight

One inmate remains hospitalized following an altercation at Oklahoma State Reformatory. According to recently released reports, the clash was between black and white inmates at the facility. A Department of Corrections spokesman said that the brawl broke out on Sunday evening and that several inmates suffered minor injuries.

Officers could not comment on the state of the inmate who remains hospitalized. The facility is conducting an ongoing investigation into the cause of the disturbance. Altercations with racial overtones has resulted in the death of four inmates this year, as well as numerous fights across the state of Oklahoma.
