A female corrections officer was stabbed last night, while on duty at Texas's William P. Clements Unit. Officers say that the woman was stabbed four times and was rushed to the hospital by helicopter. Her condition is unknown.

Officials reported that the woman, who remains unidentified, was stabbed while monitoring a cell block in the all-male unit. Authorities say they have not yet located a suspect. The female officer has worked at the facility since 2002. Officials would not release any more details about the incident.
