| Inmate Indicted in Feces Assault |

An inmate at the Sullivan County Correctional Facility in Fallsburg has been indicted on a felony charge, after being accused in August of hurling a nasty liquid brew containing his own feces at a correction officer. The noxious mixture struck the officer in the back arm and neck, forcing the officer to seek medical attention and be decontaminated, police said. Police said Lance Carter, 36, is charged with aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate, a felony. He was sent back to prison to await further court action. |
