| Ohio Man Dies in Jail |

An Ohio man died after collapsing in custody at the Lucas County jail last week, authorities said. Raymond Cassidy, 35, was transported to the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo after an apparent heart attack, authorities said. Bob Hannon, an investigator for the Lucas County coroner, said Mr. Cassidy was found on the floor of his jail cell, alive. An ultrasound test performed at St. Vincent's found that Mr. Cassidy had a blocked right ventricle, Mr. Hannon added, leading him to believe the cause of death was a heart attack. |
