Two inmates broke out of the Elkhart County Jail yesterday morning, forcing a lockdown at the Goshen facility.
The sheriff's department says the men are still on the loose after escaping sometime between 8-12 AM.
Both inmates were being held on several drug-related charges.
Police say they could be dangerous. Roger Delucenay has been incarcerated since February 25 for possession of a handgun and drug related charges.
His older brother David Delucenay also faces drug charges. He was jailed August 31. Both were awaiting trial before they escaped.
Officers have also notified police in the surrounding areas and states. In efforts to make sure all other inmates are secured the jail is now on lockdown.
The 80-bed minimum security Osawatomie Correctional Facility is located on the grounds of the Osawatomie State Hospital.
It became part of the state correctional system in 1987.
