A month-long search for a Vernon County, Mo. inmate has ended. 21-year-old Aaron Stevens of Nevada, escaped from the Vernon County Jail for the second time on October 5th along with another inmate who was later caught. Stevens was captured Monday and is being held in the Bates County Jail. The two inmates escaped through a door separating the lobby and the jail during visiting hours. Stevens will face an additional charge in connection with his latest escape. |
