| Two Escaped Inmates Caught |

Police in Kings Mountain, N.C., have captured two men who escaped from a prison unit Sunday night near Shelby. Authorities say the two men were taken into custody around 5 a.m. today. They were found at a Waffle House restaurant in Kings Mountain and were arrested without incident. Police and prison officials say the men escaped sometime between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. from a medium-security prison facility in Cleveland County. Officials did not say how the men were able to get away. The escapees were Jeff Bailey, 36, who was in prison for robbery with a dangerous weapon; and Gregory Cribb, 34, who was being held for a number of offenses. |
