Inmate Disturbance in Arizona

A minor inmate disturbance last night at the Federal Correctional Institute, north of Phoenix, Arizona. The Phoenix Fire Department says units from the Daisy Mountain Fire Department were dispatched to the scene.

Phoenix Fire says paramedics treated mostly minor injuries. It's not clear exactly who was injured. Other details are sketchy. The cause of disturbance is unknown.

An aerial shot of the facility showed several inmates outside the prison sitting down. A spokesman inside the facility declined to release any information about the disturbance. According to the Federal Prisons Web site, The Federal Correctional Institution in Phoenix is a medium security facility for male offenders.
