| Teens Charged In Jail Attack |

Monroe County, N.Y. Sheriff's investigators charged two teen inmates at the county jail with attacking another teenager on the cellblock. Eighteen year old Luis Gonzalez and 16 year old Marcus Washpun were arraigned on second degree assault. Investigators says Gonzalez and Washpun attacked 19 year old Donte Santiago in the jail last Monday. Santiago was transferred from Strong Hospital to the brain injury unit at St. Mary's Hospital. His family says Santiago is still unable to speak. He's expected to undergo weeks of rehabilitation. Santiago's in satisfactory condition. |
