Clayton County, Ark. authorities are looking for two men charged with murder who escaped from the county jail. Clayton County Chief Deputy Shelby Foles said Shawn Stanley Gilreath, 28, and Floyd Wayne Williams Jr., 25, escaped from the jail about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Foles said the two should be considered dangerous. Foles said the men were in an exercise yard when they went through a security area, scaled a fence and were picked up by someone in a small gray or silver car. Gilreath is charged in connection with a robbery in Jonesboro in 1996 in which the clerk was shot twice and killed. |
