Northampton County's 2000 investigation known as the Tredinnick Report focused primarily on the prison's system of conducting internal misconduct investigations It also raises questions about the way the county ran its inmate work release program in early 2000. In his summary of the investigation, investigator Arthur Tredinnick wrote: ''Favoritism may be at work within the Work Release program, through the misuse of inmate assignments, poor tracking of hours and lack of financial accountability.'' He recommended the state attorney general be called to investigate to get to the bottom of the charges and that a detailed financial audit be conducted. |
