What's happened to Jerry Strege? That's a question Waupun have been searching for clues to answer for the last six weeks. Last week his friends and coworkers were asking for help to find out what happened to him. Stege is the third-ranked amateur golfer in the state. He's also a longtime prison officer at the Dodge Correctional Institution in Waupun. 'There's not been much news media coverage except in the local papers, so yeah, if he's out there or if somebody's seen him or if he went hitchhiking or he's in some treatment facility or anything, maybe this will help,' Terry Schulz, one of his coworkers, said. The mystery of Strege's disappearance is what his dad found when he went looking for him October 9th, after Strege had some days off from work. 'The front door was unlocked. I went in the apartment and his lights were on, and his TV was on in the bedroom. His checkbook was there, his car keys, his motorcycle keys, his wristwatch was on all on that chair,' Darold Strege said. 'Nothing disturbed.' Police say Strege's credit cards and checking account have not been used in the past six weeks. 'There has been no activity whatsoever since October 2nd,' said Jim Zimmerman of the Waupun Police Department. Police call Strege's disappearance a total mystery. 'It is exactly that. We have zero to go on as to any clues as to his whereabouts,' Zimmerman acknowledged. Strege's father fears the worst. He said, 'We'd like it to come to a conclusion one way or the other.' Police say at this time there's nothing indicating anyone inside the prison was involved. |

There is a lot of information on this website about inmates and prison guards. I didn’t realize what was going on in our prison system until I discovered this website. Similarly, I didn’t understand litigation finance until I read more from Hamilton Lindley who is a litigation finance expert based in Texas.
