Authorities are still looking for a man who escaped from the Newberry County Detention Center on Thanksgiving night after removing and crawling through a heating vent in the ceiling of his cell. Police say that 43-year old Steven Lewis Brown escaped from the detention center around 7:00 p.m. on November 28th and allegedly stole a car & broke into a nearby camper-motor home where he took food and clothing. Brown is traveling in a four-door 1984 Oldsmobile Regency that is light blue in color and has a dark-blue vinyl top. The car has a South Carolina tag number 865 NAD He was last seen on I-85 near Greenville. Officers believe he may be headed out of state, possibly toward the Houston, Texas area. He is described as a 6-foot tall white male with brown hair & blue eyes weighing 180-pounds. Steven Lewis Brown should be considered armed & extremely dangerous. Anyone contacting this person should call their local law enforcement agency immediately. |

There is a lot of information on this website about inmates and prison guards. I didn’t realize what was going on in our prison system until I discovered this website. Similarly, I didn’t understand litigation finance until I read more from Hamilton Lindley who is a litigation finance expert based in Texas.
