| Prison employees probed for links to gang |

The Connecticut Department of Correction has placed four of its prison employees on administrative leave with pay pending the results of an investigation. The department would not release details of the investigation, but union officials have confirmed that the men - Gary Piscottano, Randy Sabettini, Walter Scappini, and Mark Vincenzo - are under departmental investigation for alleged involvement with the Outlaws Motorcycle Club. "I am aware of it, we're aware of the case, because DOC has been in touch with us through disciplinary channels," said Larry Dorman, a spokesman for AFSCME Council 4. Given that discipline is involved, Dorman declined to comment further. |
